Following its preview at Euroluce 2025, Lodes officially launches Outdoor, its first collection dedicated to exterior lighting, now available on the market. This milestone marks a significant step for the Venetian brand, with high-performance solutions of strong decorative appeal, designed to integrate seamlessly into both residential and hospitality settings. Light, thus, becomes the protagonist of a new way of living spaces: not a mere technical function, but an experience able to combine wellbeing, visual allure, and continuity between indoors and outdoors.

At the heart of the collection lie Lodes’ core principles. Aesthetic innovation and visual comfort guide shapes, details, and finishes conceived to engage with the environment, transcending purely functional lighting. Integrated technology translates into efficiency and durability, with materials and components chosen to guarantee superior performance in every condition. Light customization enhances color rendering and emission control, offering solutions that merge visual quality and design flexibility. Finally, sustainability takes form in modularity and detachability: products built to last, easy to maintain, and reflecting a responsible use of resources. Each piece is therefore conceived as a small architectural element of light, enriching outdoor spaces with a presence that is discreet, poetic, and enduring.

This inaugural collection brings together seven projects that give shape to a common language expressed through different sensibilities. Patrick Norguet, Snøhetta and estudi{H}ac each contribute their unique perspective, while the Lodes in-house team ensures coherence with the brand’s philosophy. The result is a diverse yet harmonious ensemble, in which every product narrates a distinct way of experiencing outdoor light: from technical versatility to dialogue with nature, from formal elegance to decorative impact, through to direct engagement with architectural surfaces. Distinct voices intertwining in a unified narrative that demonstrates how light can be function, emotion, and architecture at once.

OUTDOOR Collection by Lodes:

  • Focus, Kinno and Chelsie by Patrick Norguet – Three visions of outdoor light
  • Volum Outdoor by Snøhetta – Blown glass spheres for exterior spaces
  • Stitch by estudi{H}ac – Decorative lantern weaving light and fabric
  • Reed and Puzzle Outdoor by the Lodes Design Team – Dialogue between landscape and architecture

Focus, Kinno and Chelsie by Patrick Norguet – Three visions of outdoor light

Versatility, organicity, and essentiality: three qualities defining Patrick Norguet’s projects for Lodes Outdoor. His language merges technology with aesthetic sensitivity, turning each lamp into a lighting experience able to adapt to context, engage with nature, and convey elegance without excess.

Focus is a multifunctional projector inspired by the world of photography, combining technology, elegance, and meticulous detailing. Available in three sizes, it allows light to be directed and modulated to create bespoke atmospheres. Its five finishes and wide range of installation accessories highlight its dynamic and versatile nature, making it ideal for residential, landscape, commercial, and retail settings.

Kinno is a bollard with an organic design reminiscent of a mushroom. Available in five finishes inspired by plant life, it can be wall-, ceiling-, or ground-mounted, with either a straight or curved stem to bring movement and spontaneity to the lighting composition.

Chelsie is a compact architectural light with a fluid, essential design. Depending on its size, it functions as either a floor washer or step light, delivering uniform illumination that softens contrasts. The LED source is discreetly concealed within a recessed detail of the metal body, emphasising the decorative character of the design, while matt finishes enhance its versatility.

Volum Outdoor by Snøhetta – Blown glass spheres for exterior spaces

What if the timeless shape of a glass sphere could transform the way we experience conviviality outdoors? That’s exactly what Snøhetta studio did. The Norwegian studio signs Volum Outdoor, bringing the elegance of blown-glass spheres from the indoor collection into exterior spaces. Continuing the story of 360° lighting with new wall and ceiling configurations, the diffusers’ similar yet never identical shapes, highlighted by a glossy finish, emit a soft, even light that enhances convivial moments. Available in four sizes, Volum Outdoor fosters natural continuity between indoor and covered outdoor areas such as loggias, porches, and terraces.

Stitch by estudi{H}ac – Decorative lantern weaving light and fabric

With a distinctly decorative vision, Spanish studio estudi{H}ac enriches the Outdoor collection with a project where light and matter intertwine to create carefree, summery moods. Stitch is a family of lanterns in which a technical fabric ribbon weaves through a metal frame, concealing the light source within a refined play of shadows and translucency. Available in four sizes and finishes, it can be placed on the ground, on a table, or suspended, transforming into a true furnishing element that brings character and atmosphere to any outdoor setting.

Reed and Puzzle Outdoor by the Lodes Design Team – Dialogue between landscape and architecture

The Lodes design team signs two projects that explore complementary ways of interpreting outdoor light: one blending with nature, the other enhancing architectural surfaces. Reed is a slender metal stem available in three heights and combinable with three organically shaped diffusers. Installed directly in the ground, it blends into vegetation, creating the impression of a natural extension of the landscape. Its discreet yet poetic presence becomes a luminous sign accompanying greenery without overpowering it.

Puzzle Outdoor, instead, evolves Lodes’ indoor wall lights for exterior use. Its essential design produces grazing light that highlights surfaces and textures, turning walls into backdrops for luminous atmospheres. Available in single or double versions and four finishes, it can be rotated and tilted to customise the effect, offering designers wide creative freedom.

The Outdoor collection marks a decisive step for Lodes, bringing outdoors the same aesthetic and design language that has long distinguished its indoor catalogue. Every element is conceived to engage with its surroundings, transcending mere technical function and becoming a small architecture of light, designed to endure over time and across environments. In doing so, Lodes inaugurates a path that broadens the brand’s horizon and opens up new design possibilities, while always keeping light as the true protagonist of space. In the end, it is light itself that redraws the boundaries between design and nature.
